Good neighbours are priceless friends. He or she or they are people with whom you can talk. They will watch out for your place without being nosy. They are people from whom you can borrow something, if they have it to lend. They may help you with a project in your home. They respect you and genuinely care about your welfare. They will be supportive and encouraging without being wishy-washy or dishonest. You can depend upon them to be straight with you. You can trust them. They may live on the other side of the wall, on the lot next door or across the street, or down the road apiece, but they are there.
One of the greatest compliments that you can pay anyone is to say that he or she or they are good neighbours

As I just moved to an absolute different place than before (from busy harbour town to quiet remote country side village) I found this:
in the city, it took me 15 years to get good neighbours in my house, here the neighbours are just there.
When we moved from WestGermany to EastGermany, we expected to run into problems with neighbours. But there were none. We have great neighbours. Their children love to stay with us, they give us eggs, milk or vegetables from the garden, I advise them with some computer support or writing official letters for them.
The principle is easy:
Be open. Don’t be arrogant. Don’t behave as if you knew everything better.
Respect your neighbours. And they will respect you.

The layout for my website is my own design, which is basically a 2 column template. with a header and footer. I recently made it fluid, so the actual display may vary from browser to browser, but it should be OK in most current browsers. Avoiding flash and a lot of graphics enables the pages to load faster than they would with many graphics. All of these elements of design are basically to make it easy for my viewers to find and to read my content. I hope that you found that to be interesting as well as “entertaining”.
